I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I have done work in watercolor, oils, pastels, and collage, but my favorite medium is still graphite on paper. I love the simplicity of materials versus the complexity of creating a three-dimensional form using shading, space, and light.

"On Butterfly Wings"

I have recently begun doing more paintings, both in oil and acrylic. I am leaning toward acrylic because of the quicker drying time. This is my latest acrylic on canvas painting, called "On Butterfly Wings". It is based on a recurring dream I had as a child. I am looking forward to doing more paintings in this style.
