I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I have done work in watercolor, oils, pastels, and collage, but my favorite medium is still graphite on paper. I love the simplicity of materials versus the complexity of creating a three-dimensional form using shading, space, and light.

"Learning To Fly"

This painting is called "Learning To Fly". It is painted in acrylic on canvas. I got the idea for this painting while watching some children flying kites and observing.... first reluctance, then running...and finally the pure joy of flying the kite into the evening sun.
